Midwife and nurse call back service
Got a young baby? Find out about our new midwife and nurse call
back service
Are you expecting or the parent of a young baby?
If so, you might want to know more about our new midwife and nurse
call back service - which offers members with children up to the
age of one access to support and information from a midwife or
nurse.
A new arrival is wonderful but there are often so many questions
to ask about looking after your baby. This is why we are now
offering members with an individual health insurance policy who have a
baby under the age of one a service providing access to a call back
from a nurse or a midwife to discuss any questions they may have
regarding their child's (or, for that matter, their own) health and
wellbeing.
Speaking of the new service, Sonia Wolsey-Cooper, AXA PPP
healthcare's membership and people director, said:
"We understand the demands parents can face as they adapt to the
arrival of a new baby and strive to give them the best start in
life.
"I am confident that our call back service will provide welcome
support for families as they deal with the many challenges that
come with parenthood."
How do I access the midwife or nurse call back
service?
This service will be offered to members upon calling to add a
dependant to an individual policy. We can then arrange a personal
call back from a midwife or nurse to discuss concerns and offer
support and information regarding their child's health. The call
back will be from either a nurse or a midwife, depending on the age
of the child.
The call back service is one of a number of new services we are
introducing to support our members - and is provided by our Health at Hand health information service,
which gives members 24/7 access to telephone support from its
dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Members with older children can also benefit from a wide range of
family information and support from Health at Hand.
